I have a Kenmore in the 145 series. My husband gave it to me for Christmas of in 1979. I took it in for cleaning two months ago and while I was waiting for help, I was looking at ones that he had for sale.
Well to cut this short he told me not to trade my in. He told me newer machines are not made as well plus they are made out of plastic. I love sewing with and will take his word.
