I belong to a quilt club- we meet every Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 we don't have any rules- officers. We meet at a local community building that lets us use it for free. We have one organized quilt a month , if you want to sew it fine , if not bring something else to work on
Very laid back
We do 2 charity items a year , last year we made baby quilts for tornado victims in Missouri and Christmas Stocking for the residents of the building we use . The kind lady that started the group wants to take a break so I will be taking over as "Leader" In the Spring we had an all day sew in at another community center and for that one we made it a pot luck lunch - for the Wednesday nights we bring snacks. We also try once a month to learn/teach new things
