Hi everyone! I'm sharing pictures of 2 quilts I've recently completed. The first is a baby quilt made from a Moda Bakeshop I Spy pattern (
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2012/03/...ngs-quilt.html). The mother-to-be had asked for hot pink bandana and denim. I think it's pretty darn cute! The pattern used charms but I cut my own. The color is a little 'wonky'... but no biggie. Quilt #8.
the 2nd quilt is a Memory Quilt I made from my Dad's Shirts. Dad was a coin collector and member of his Baptist Church for 79+ years. The pattern is Collecting Coins from an older issue of Quiltmaker magazine and the quilt was quilted in a variation of Baptist Fan. The border is quilted in baroque hearts. I love this quilt. It was a very cathartic process in many ways. After I completed this one, my mom made 3 others substituting ecru muslin for the white for my other siblings. This was my 6th quilt.
Thanks for looking!
