I do not own a store bought quilt unless one of the puffy comforter things applies. I bought a sheet set and comforter/dust ruffle for the spare bedroom for when company comes. I do have a pretty co-ordinating quilt folded onto the foot of the bed. A couple of years ago I was tempted by a Martha Stewart white on white quilt with a pretty scalloped edge but I didn't really need it.
