Makes one wonder how they arrive at the asking price. Jacquie is right, not much shoe repairing going on anymore. The only thing it might be used for is harness repairs. But for that money one could buy a modern machine to do that job. My OSMG says that lots of those old shoe and harness machines (for example Singer 29-4) are so worn out that they can't be returned to useful status without new parts and the parts are not available.
