my worst quirk, which to me makes perfect sense!, is to put little pieces of trash, candy wrapper, peach pit, return envelope from junk mail, etc, in a dish or cup that's going back to the kitchen. the idea is, when i get to the kitchen i will throw away the trash and put the dish in the sink. but the reality is (don't tell anyone i admitted this!) i usually get distracted and just leave it on the counter. somehow, this totally derails all the men in my life and they can't figure out what to do with the trash. seems simple enough to me.
I do that!!!! Made me think of MY DH's quirk!! We eat in the living room (is that a quirk??) I hate sitting at a table. He always takes our dishes to the kitchen. I have been known to leave the dishwasher open, with the racks out ----- HE sets the dishes on the counter above the dishwasher.....he NEVER puts them in!!!!! THAT drives me nuts!
