I'd call the place that I got it from. I have not had a problem with smelly furniture before.................carpet now that is another story. I can't take the odors from that, but it does go away.
What type of fabric is it? or could it be the padding in it? If it is the padding then it may be there for a long time..............call the place you got it from.......maybe it is something in the furniture itself. I redo furniture for a living and I don't have anything go out that smells!!
I have returned coffee pots that have a bad odor and no matter how much vinegar added to it, the smell did not go away. I took it back. I know that is small compared to the furniture, but if you can't handle it, have it replaced!!
