My 5 year grandson wanted a red quilt with his family on it. So here it is. I started this before his birthday in March and finally finished it. The top was really easy, the quilting was giving me fits. I stared quilting in the ditch with one thread and ripped it out, then started strippling in black and didn't like it. The back is just red. So ripped that out and started again with red thread. The main quilt is American Heritage from Robert Kaufman's site and to increase the size I added the black with the photos and then the outside border. But it's finally done and I can give it to my little boy!
