I believe your philosophy is right on. I have had various creative hobbies along the way in my life. I will get very involved in garment sewing, uphostery, decopage, embrodiery, crochet and then move on to whatever piques my interest. Of course, moving around like that keeps me from ever being an expert in any one skill. It seems a little strange to me when people don't have hobbies. I think of hobbies as being more active than reading or working crossword puzzles. which begs the question, what is a hobby?
