Kaye England is one of my all time favorite instructors. She is so funny and knows so much. She is not dogmatic but uses a variety of techniques. She owned a fantastic quilt store chain for years and helped many people go into their own businesses. Brenda Papadakis taught there before Dear Jane. She lives here and when she comes to guild for a talk, the room is full and we laugh so hard it hurts. I would suggest a 6 hour class since she has so much info she can give if people ask questions.
I took a scrap use class from Kaye and it changed my whole quilting perspective. She showed us how a diverse group of fabrics that I would never have put together can turn into wonderful blocks.
If you get a chance, ask her what happened when the llamas and goats went on their little escape.
