Just use less strips!

You can calculate to figure out what size you want ......

Each strip is 2-1/2" so will finish at 2" ... and each is approx 40" long.
So if you have 30 strips, you'd have 30x40=1200 inches in length.
First join end to end would give you a quilt 4" x 600".
Of course, you wouldn't finish that quilt!!
Next end to end would nbe 8" x 300"
and so on!!!!

If you don't like the size, then you can fiddle with the number of strips and start all over.

And keep in mind this is only approximate ... you will lose inches if you join the strips on the bias, or have off sizes. etc/
