That's what I've found out and I also saw on another site that along with the white/green 221Ks they also made beige ones, and that is what color I have as I don't see any 'green' in mine and it isn't that white either. Mine was made in Great Britain.
I need to put a correction here!!! My 221K is GREEN!!!! I put it up next to my Sears/Janome plastic machine and let the sunlight in and looked at it. My S/J is beige, and this FW is not white, but has a great green tint to it. I hadn't looked at it in the sunlight before. Sorry about that,
