I hand piece. My DH machine pieces. He has done 4 postage stamp quilts. I have only done 1/2 of one. But, those small pieces are hard for me to hold onto. It would be a good project to carry with you. You could make blocks and then put them all together when you got enough done. Good luck on your project!
