Well today I went to Hancocks and Joann's and bought a few yards each of their non-pill fleece. I actually bought about 8 yards to be exact. The colors are going to work on the grandkids quilts for batting/backs. I glue basted the sample and stiched in the ditch about 2 to 5" apart. When I get finished I'll post the pictures. If this doesn't work on the quilt backs it will make pretty inexpensive batting. Hancocks was 52% off and Joann's was 50%. Also got some toys at Hancocks at 40% off.
I bought the rotary sharpner, the mat smoother and a chenille cutter. Going to try and make my own. I have a book and it doesn't look to hard. Just to make a few pcs to give some baby quilts some texture.
Got a lot to do, so let the fun begin!!!
