Just getting around to answering PMs about this month and after reading a couple of them I wanted to clarify something about the theme.
You do not have to hand quilt it! 
I guess Amish women might do that, but I don't think any of us are Amish so break out the machines!
What this theme is all about is
SIMPLICITY 
Amish quilts do not use patterned fabrics, so we are using solids or tone on tone.
The patterns are pretty simple. I picked up
this book at my guild's show ... just loved the cover ... and I am sending to someone who is less than enchanted with the theme this month in the hope that it might change her mind!
So ... get snipping!
I have my pieces all cut out thanks to my Accuquilt Go! Now to figure out what I want to do.
