What a nice machine. I recently purchased a 99 that says 'Great Britain' on the top but it doesn't have the 99K under the centennial singer shield. So, I'm wondering what the difference is between the 99 and the 99K? Does anyone know? Mine does have the standard US plug in.
I just recently acquired a Singer 99K...The K signifies the machine was made in the United Kingdom...Scotland, I was told. Mine is circa 1955.
