Well, the pattern for one...
I suppose I could redraw all the seam allowances and then cut a smaller one, but that is a lot of effort.

Quarter inch seams aren't really good for garment sewing. They are more likely to fray with the stress of wearing a garment. Unless you are using a serger, in which case that is usually the seam allowance, but my serger is more like 3/8, so it is kind of a pain when you want a quarter.
