Like margecam52 suggested - it does help if you pin your seams from left to right. I started doing that because I use one of those metal seam guides (the kind you screw down) and you can't use it when the pins are sticking out on the right side. Besides I can sew a whole seam before I stop to take out the pins.
With my Singer, I know I can sew over the pins and not cause any damage. So, it is very easy to forget to remove them as I go along. Yet, with the glue on the seams, I will not have to worry about that again.
