For the newbies, please do not feel like you need to get everything that your person has listed. Lori asks for as much info as someone wants to put to give you lots of options. And they are there for you to have an idea of who your secret pal is, and the type of things they would like. But you might have some really great ideas that aren't even listed, and quite often the unexpected surprises are terrific!
And there is a $10 budget (postage is NOT part of the 10), some put in lots of stuff from their stash, or make things, but it isn't required to spend more than the $10. You can look at previous months swaps to get ideas if you want.
Like Lori reminds us, send something you would like to receive, and have fun figuring out what you will send.
