Louise, good luck with your job. We lived in Colorado Springs for 18 years before retiring and moving here to Tennessee. Have followed your threads and all regarding the fire. We didn't live in the area that was evacuated, but had at one time tried to buy some land in a subdivision in that area. Had that gone through, we would have been evacuated. Scarry thinking about all the damages done so quickly - and the helplessness you feel.
