info on the huge sale starting this morning. I went back over last night to finish helping her a bit and pick up the Davis treadle cabinet (pics to come in a few minutes) and we discovered quite a few unique machines including a German made singer 201 with a copper flat plate on the side of the arm, a WWi german made singer treadle in parlor cabinet and the irons are brown and gold, a singer 99 in the most bizarre cabinet ive ever seen, with 4 front doors that open and the machine raises up on a hydraulic pulley system straight up out of the cabinet, a Necci in cabinet that pulls apart to become both the cabinet and the seat, with storage under the seat...a martha washington sewing cabinet with a White Rotary in it, the very first 99k made, some centennial badged singers, and some absolutely gorgeous bent wood portable singers that look practically brand new.
Wow Jen, I'd bet most of us here would go crazy if we got to go to this sale! I would love to see photos of the machines! Did you take any photos while you were there?
