LOL! Gotta love a husband who supports your habit, Cindy! Thank you for your kind words. I had so much fun watching this come together. I was inspired by a quilt I saw at a quilt show. It was a wall-hanging, a map of Texas done entirely out of small squares and triangles of fabric. The effect was very much like a mosaic, which is a hobby I've pursued for years. So I was really drawn to the pieciness of it.
(That ought to be a word, if it's not.) I took a picture of that quilt with the creator's permission and have carried it around with my on my phone for over a year now. My quilt isn't nearly as good, but I'm proud of it as a first attempt for the mosaic effect in fabric.
