One thing I found out from the preview of the 12000 is that it comes with limited hoops - unless that has changed. My Ellegante has a bunch of hoops and I would miss the 4x4 and the 5x7 hoops. Check out the feet that come with the 12000 also, I can't remember if you have all the feet for quilting included.
I also have the Janome 11000 and love it for embroidery and quilting. It is so much easier than the big embroidery module of the Ellegante. I love Janome and now can't find a dealer anywhere nearby for Babylock.
Hey, do you know how to use the border and quilting hoops with your Ellegante II? I upgraded to the II and can't find anywhere to learn how to use the upgrades.
Good advice on the board, be sure and play with the 12000 and make sure you like it. Only if you like it will it be an excellent deal!
