I say make what makes you happy. If your pleased with it someone else will be too. My mom used to say there is a rear for every chair. This is about being creative. Thinking outside the box is a good thing. Worse case scenario you make it and hate it. You simply make a different one right? I have finished two and am going to make the third today. The best two out of three will go out and the last will become a shelf sitter with my other cushions. They look great on my prep table.
