Talked to my guy at the post office about taping the envelopes, he informed me that the tape can NOT be anywhere near the stamp area or where the PO put any of their labels. He suggest using the envelopes with the woven texture, it is only a little more expensive but is made for bulking items and does not require as much tape as the flat cardboard envelopes. Just FYI.
I do use alot of tape, but I do not tape where the labels or the stamp goes. At least he did not charge you extra, right? I will look into the woven texture envelopes. Thanks mmono, I am also glad you got my package. I'll have to not cut it so closely next swap... BTW...when will that be?? lol
