I have 2Singers and love them!!! I had the basic and now I have the Quilter's Confidence and the model just before that one . I use them daily and unmercifully. The basic was a great starter and I actually gave it to my neices as their first machine. So I would recommend any Singer product as I have had great success with 3 different models from them
