You can now buy no-stick aluminum foil - the best thing for these. Also, if you wrap your food in foil, then a layer of wet newspaper, and another layer of foil, they will be protected enough to just throw into the fire. The wetness of the paper provides some inner steaminess and when it's dry, the food is done.
