You were lucky on the pricing - I've found that depending on which Goodwill I go to pricing for crafty items can range from bargain-basement to outrageous. My local Goodwill currently has a bundle of 6 pairs of knitting needles priced at $10 and old skeins of yarn priced at $4.99 each.
