Gifted Model #15
I have never owned a vintage sewing machine and was recently gifted a Singer Model #15. I knew exactly where to come to get help identifying the machine, finding out how old this machine really is, and how to clean the decorative plates as well as the machine.
The number on the plate on the topside of the machine (right hand bottom corner) is AE-658018. Underneath the machine I see 'SIMANCO USA 125255'.
It is an electric machine in the orginal cabinet with a sewing stool. The owner's supply of sewing accessories and the manuel to the machine were inside the stool. The decals are in excellent condition except for an inch or so where the owner feed material into the machine. Such a treasure from a dear friend.
