Congratulations on learning to sew. You will get frustrated from time to time and when you do just walk away, take some deep breaths, go for a walk or just have a glass of wine and then come back and pick up where you were, re-read the directions and try again. It really is easy to do if you just take it in small steps. Your first quilt will be an adventure and the pattern you have chosen is a good one. Get the top done and then come back for more advice unless you have some friends (besides us) that are able to help you out or a LQS that is willing to advise you.
