No, I looked at it and decided that was unnecessary. I used my 12 1/2" square up ruler. I measured my strip set (6 - 2" strips = 9 1/2" wide strip set) and cut a 9 1/2" square block, then cut from corner to corner. I used my brand new rotating cutting mat. "the Starmarker 8". Did you use this ruler? The pattern just said to sew the strips , square off ends then cut diagonally form upper left corner using the Starmaker 8. It doesn't say how large the triangle should be. How big was yours? Any help would be appreciated. Thankl you BrendaK
