Oh, love fresh figs!!
I make Fig Pinwheels for breakfast. Use a biscquit dough, roll out to a rectangle. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, chopped figs and chopped walnuts. Dot with butter and roll up. I usually put it into the freezer while I set the coffee pot on and make an orange sugar glaze. Then take it out and slice it into1/2" to 1" rounds and place on a parchment covered cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for anout 15 minutes or til golden. Drizzle with glaze and enjoy! YUMMY
