Yes my grandfather made that :) Apparently he made many quilts. My grandmother and I talked yesterday and she said he quilted a lot once they stopped farming. He was so good at it that people would pay him to make quilts for them. She said they took a picture of everyone he ever made but that when her house burned in 2004 that scrapbook burned because she never found it after the fire. She said he would also make other quilted items besides regular bed quilts for people at nursing homes to brighten up their rooms. And to think he has been gone from us 20 years this August and I never knew that about him until now. It makes me treasure my quilt even more because she said that my quilt and my siblings quilts were the first ones he ever made without any help from her.
