Yes, it is that easy!
My very first quilt was actually a Triple Irish Chain. I took a class, wasn't a sewer, had no idea about quilting. And I didn't have any problems. With the single Irish Chain - just those 2 blocks, alternating. With jelly rolls, you eliminate all of the cutting of strips, very nice!
