I have several of the strip cutters and it is harder to push through but the accuracy is unbeatable. It hurts less to crank than to use my rotary cutter! I say keep it and only cut one piece of fabric. If it is a 2-1/2 inch strip cutter use one layer of fabric cut the width of the fabric. It will be easier to turn. It does save time even with just one layer. Remember it gives you 2 to 4 strips prefectly cut. Have fun with it. Luann in CT
