I bought it at a second-hand shop and the seller's idea was to turn it into garden planter and let the flowers grow through the machine hole or put a pot of flowers into that same hole. Assuming it must be an older treadle base because of the wooden pitman rod and the coffin top. I can maybe uncover it and take pictures of the treadle for you.

I'd love to see pics of it. I'll never understand some people. 50 years ago when treadles were more common using them for flower planters could be understood ... sort of. But now, I don't know.
The wooden pitman arms can be fabricated. There is a web site, (Treadle On?) that has an article on how to do it.
