I have been working on my scrap box tonight...I have plastic shoe boxes and have them set by 2 1/2 sq., 3 1/2 sq, 5 sq, 6 1/2 sq...Then I have another of 2 1/2 strips of different lengths for a scrappy jelly roll, and another of 3 1/2 strips that will be later cut down into hexagons for a GFG. Finally I have a large carton full of strings, of at least 3/4 wide ( I use them even if they are odd shaped) for use in a string quilt. Finally hanging from the desk in my cutting area is a sewn square with an opening for stuffing any smaller unusable pieces of fabric or batting that will soon be my dog's bed! Once his is done, I will begin making them for our local animal shelter. The bed is made with the lovely fabric someone gave me that I would NEVER use in a quilt. But my dog has no taste anyway!!
