The Irish Chain is very easy! Here are some pics of my very first attempt, at a "real quilt" - a Triple Irish Chain. It's far from perfect but so far, it's held together. It was a birthday gift, for my mom, in 2009. I've been sewing for over 50 years but up until that quilt, had only pieced/quilted craft items. It's backed, with a blanket and the quilting is SITD.
