Another very easy quilt is get a focus fabric and make 6 inch blocks and then get two co-ordinating fabrics to make 3 inch blocks another piece for a 1 1/2 inch border and another piece for a 3 inch border. It takes 1 yd for focus fabric, 1/2 yard for other two fabrics 3/8 yd for 1st border and 1 yd for outside border and then 2 1/2 yds for backing and binding if using the same fabric.
