May I say a HUGE thank you to everyone who replied to my question. I can't believe that a problem such as finding images and instructions for this type of quilt has been solved so quickly by replies from all you wonderful people! I have copied down your comments, web site suggestions and instructions and along with the images on the German web site, I think I have a very good chance of making a nice cosy quilt.
