My yellow lab sheds light hair... my beagle sheds dark hair... sooo, you might want to find out the primary color of hair and choose fabrics that will camouflage well? Also, use generous seam allowances, especially if you use denim!! I made a denim bed cover and, due to inexperience, used 1/4" seams... every time I wash the cover I have to repair... I'm actually in the process of starting over and making a whole new cover. Lesson learned!! Have fun is the most important thing!!
