This is a small quilt that I just finished in memory of my favorite high school teacher. He had written a calligraphy piece which began with Hai Great Dragon Fly. I did this on a taffeta type of fabric. This was my July challenge quilt for the 2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge. Angela Walters was the teacher and the lesson was the tile background. We could do any background filler of our choice. The quilt measures 23" X 23". Hope you enjoy it!!!
