Why wouldn't the rubberized shelf lining work just as well? I have lots of that around that I could cut into workable pieces and use on each side of the machine needle. Thanks for the tip. Or you could even use those round rubber disc like jar operners also.
Shelf liners work wonderfully. I had a teacher recommend that to me before.
