Default DNP for baby quilt

I learned on one of the tutorials in this board that a disappearing nine patch is really gorgeous (and easy!) when you use the big prints in the 4 outer corners and the more solid-looking fabrics in the other spaces, then after sewng the 9 little 5" blocks together to form the 9-patch, cut in half vertically and again in half horizontally. This will keep the more or less solid colored fabrics as smaller 2.5" blocks and keep the larger print as full 5" blocks. Twist and turn the blocks as you can so no seams match and sew together to form whatever pleases your eye. I think this would be gorgeous for your baby quilt! (reminds me of the Yellow Brick Road...but ahhh...so much simpler to put together). Good luck and have fun with this little baby quilt. Your fabrics are really pretty!
