I have been sewing with my Singer 224 the past couple of days, and the machine sews beautifully! Has no difficultly sewing through two layers of jeans with batting and cotton fabric...and all done with decorative stitching.
I would go after this one, but I just don't feel like driving into the City....although a trip into Japantown is always fun since there is a wonderful hardware store...and then the food. I might be talking myself into a drive.
If only I had a basement...
