IMHO, DH and I use craigslist all the time. We have sold and bought cattle, furniture, puppies, cars/trucks, sewing machines, hay, farm equipment, etc. We put in our phone number. We have have met the nicest people whether we are buying or selling. I do except email but have always been able to spot a phony (like 2 or 3 in 8 years). One does have to always be careful.
