Just a side on denim It gets very heavy to wash. You might mix it with regular cotton squares. But good thing it really last a long time. I made a Dresden Plate quilt with plates made of denim. Hahaa It was so heavy I had to go to laundry mat to wash. Didn't want it to kill my washer though I always have a heavy duty washer.
