for my future bags that require grommets...I am going to try fusible stabilizer vs. the fusible fleece where the grommets should be placed. I put fusible fleece on the lining and the outside of the bag but it is too thick for most grommets. I wish someone would invent a "screw" on grommet that would allow us to use them on thick projects. The dritz drapery ones are good but the grommets I see at quilt shops are flimsy and no way will those plastic prongs go through fusibile fleece. I just may never do a grommet project again. frustrating!
