For me, if a project is a long drawn out process, I become bored with it. If I keep plugging away at a quilt that is taking what I think is too long to complete, I wind up hating it and not getting enjoyment out of my quilting time. I've learned to just put it away for a while (sometimes for a longer "while" than others!
) I will eventually get back to it and if I don't then I don't. I give myself permission not to finish everything!
