A very small LQS that I go to doesn't have a ton of material, books, etc. What it does have tho, is friendly, helpfull owners. If I need something (material or whatever) that they don't have, or can't get for me, they will tell me where I might be able to find it. And more than once, they have "saved my butt" when I've come in with a quilt I'm having a problem with
